I’m so excited to kick off my very first portrait session blog by sharing this Huguenot Street, New Paltz , NY Family Session session with you! When the LeFevre Family reached out about family photos, I couldn’t wait to work with them! I just love family sessions. There’s something that I just love about freezing those family moments in time. Our little ones are only little for so long so this is one way I like to bottle up all that cuteness for my families to be able to look back at and cherish later!
Huguenot Street, New Paltz, NY Family Session
So let me start by saying this session took place on one of the hottest June weekends. I’m talking about a real feel of about 90 degrees with humidity, eek! But once we started talking and getting into the session it’s like the weather didn’t even phase this adorable family of four- they were absolute CHAMPS. Landon totally went with the flow and Maci gave us the biggest and best LOL doll smiles we’ve ever seen!! We laughed and joked, talked about newborn parent life, and had such a fun time!
If I had to pick these next shots are two of my favorites from the session. The first one shows the sweetness of sibling love, those beautiful baby blues just stole our heart and Maci was so great with her little brother! In the second photo, we were able to steal Mom and Dad away for a couple of minutes to capture the love between these two. Alisha and Mickey were just like newlyweds, Alisha was a total model and Mickey completely nailed that “Disney Prince” pose! Once I saw those pretty white flowers it was like they were just put there for us to use in these photos.
To the LeFevre Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was fun getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
