Being a pet mama myself, I know just how much they hold such a special place in our hearts. They’re a huge part of your family so to have your pets included in your photo session is always a no brainer for me!
Hudson Valley, NY | Couple’s Session
This session was a new one for me. I’ve never photographed birds and cats professionally so, this was such an exciting new experience! We had a gorgeous sunny day which made for the BEST indoor natural lighting to highlight all of their natural beauty. All of us instantly hit it off! We found out that we all vacationed at the same beach town and it felt like we all have met and chatted many times before. Seriously, my cheeks were hurting by the end of this session because we were laughing so much! Elise + Mike introduced us to their two cats, Wanda and Poopy, and their 3 birds, Ean, Baxter and Tweeter Bird. They were all so beautiful in their own ways and they had their own personalities to match!
One of my favorite shots from their session was of Poopy, when Elise was feeding him some treats. He reminded me of my little Maltese who does anything for a treat too! Another favorite of mine was Baxter sitting on his little perch with Elise + Mike behind him. Once he got comfortable, while eating his almonds, I could’ve taken pictures of his sweet little face and beautiful colors all day!
